Official statement regarding Anti Revoke service

Hello everyone!

First of all,

WE ARE IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS SERVICE!

Second,

antirevoke.us is a scam. It used part of our infrastructure to "protect" devices from detection of revoked certificates, but its developer does not know how PROtection works at appdb, does not know how our servers are configured, and does not know how to protect your devices either. To be fair, we didn't change anything that affects PROtection itself (everyone is still free to use it according to our ToS for APIs) but this developer is unable to handle it and he's now blaming us.

We personaly don't know why you are still using this service, allowing yourself to be scammed, and bringing its owner around $350/daily by tapping on ads on their website (yet he still "can't afford" servers), while appdb offers app-less automatic PROtection, that will be installed to your device right after you will link it to appdb.

WE STRONGLY ADVICE YOU TO STOP USING THIS SERVICE RIGHT NOW

And for those who still want to see Tim Cook image, here it is:

Tim Cook

This was our easter egg (that does NOT affect how PROtection works), but it wasn't necessary: if you dont see this image at ocsp.apple.com - it's okay.

Appdb users can check if device is PROtected by visiting our PROtection program page.

Best regards, appdb team.
